Over this past winter its seen some significant damage from all the increased bike traffic. The best book I’ve read in the last year is probably ‘The Book of a Thousand Days” by Shannon Hale. It’s children’s literature and served as my detox book for finals week. It has a wonderful setting and character development.

Started out every day, then about 5 times a week. Stopped walking…kept the weight off for a couple of years, then gained it back. Lessons learned: walk! keep walking! walk some more!

I used to fold laundry while sitting on boring conference calls (I worked from home). Does that count? I think it is great if you can pull it off. With all the monitoring of computers and such, it could be risky depending on your job situation. I wonder if the boss of the quilter cared that she quilted during down time?I think multitasking is great. It is even greater if you can make money doing it!
